Minebea’s Cool Leaf keyboard was part of more than 130 exhibits on display at “Japan Experience”, a government sponsored exhibition held in November at Pacifico Yokohama in Japan, on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum (APEC).

The exhibit, which was limited to the APEC delegations and media people only, was a showcase of Japan’s high-technology products. The offerings ranged from robots and electric vehicles, to an artificial heart and bullet train designs.
Minebea’s Cool Leaf Keyboards are a perfect example of Japan’s high technology products. With a sleek, sophisticated and extremely functional design, this next generation of input devices represents a leap in technology and manufacturing expertise.
The keyboard comes to life when touched. The LED back lighting as well as the force measuring devices are all part of Minebea’s advanced technology.
The annual summit, which was held in Japan for the first time since 1995, includes senior officials from 21 Pacific Rim economies. These include Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Russia, Taiwan, the United States and seven ASEAN members – Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Its next rotating chair for 2011 will be the United States.
