Bearing Types

NMB’s major ball bearing product is the single row radial deep groove ball bearing. Besides the open types radial deep groove ball bearings, bearings with shields or seals are available to provide protection from contamination and grease leakage. Flange type and snap ring type bearings are available for improved housing fits.

Radial Deep Groove Ball Bearings

This is the most common type of radial ball bearing. Radial Deep Groove bearings bear both radial and axial loads.
Available: Open, shielded, and sealed, metric and inch series.

Flanged Radial Deep Groove Ball Bearings

This is a radial ball bearing with a flange featured on one side of the outer ring surface. With a flange, it is easier to identify the axis direction for housing assembly.
Available: Open, shielded and sealed, metric and inch series. Stainless steel is the standard material.

Radial Deep Groove Ball Bearings with a Snap Ring on the Outer Ring

This is a radial ball bearing with an external retaining ring featured on one side of the outer ring surface. The ring makes identifying the axis direction easier for housing assembly.
Available: Open and shielded
High chromium steel is the standard material.
